My Therapeutic Philosophy
Compassionate Care
I believe in creating in a warm, non-judgemental space where you feel safe to explore your thoughts and feelings.
Collaborative Approach
Therapy is a partnership. I work with you to identify your goals and develop strategies that fit your unique needs.
Evidence-Based
I integrate EMDR, somatic and nervous system work, CBT, ACT, mindfulness-based tools, experiential therapy, and person-centered approaches. Together, these help you process overwhelming experiences, shift stuck patterns, and build a life that actually fits who you are now.
Who I am & How I Work
I’m a licensed clinical social worker who works with adults experiencing burnout, chronic stress, and trauma. Many of my clients are capable, thoughtful people who have spent years holding it together—often for others—until the emotional and physical toll becomes impossible to ignore.
My work is trauma-informed and focused on helping people make sense of their experiences. Clients often come to me feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or constantly on edge, unsure why things feel so hard despite doing everything they “should.” In therapy, we slow things down, understand patterns, and process what keeps getting activated so you’re not living in survival mode.
I am EMDR-trained and integrate EMDR-informed, nervous-system-aware, and evidence-based approaches. Sessions are structured and collaborative, with space for emotional processing alongside insight and practical tools that support real change.
I also bring a background in medical social work, which shapes how I understand burnout, medical trauma, grief, and life transitions. Clients often tell me they feel understood, steadier, and clearer after sessions—even when the work is challenging.
I work best with clients who are motivated, curious, and open to engaging in therapy beyond the session. This practice is not crisis-based, but it is well-suited for people who want to understand themselves more deeply and move forward with greater clarity and self-trust.
